Environmental Policy

Statement:

Noble Harbour's intention is to develop and sustain an Environmental policy, using global perceptions in relation to environmental and ecological issues; and insight gained through local knowledge.

We realise that we can contribute to major environmental changes in the form of what appear to be minor adjustments to our working practices.

Therefore we commit to a process of continuous improvement in the following areas:

• The acceptable management and monitoring of waste produced by the practice
• The reduction of pollution and emissions from work- related property and vehicles
• Compliance with environmental legislation and environmental codes of practice
• The provision of on-going training for all personnel in relation to the above procedures and provisions.
• Active development and promotion of our environmentally-informed working practices

We aim to achieve this continuous improvement by:

• Working with other environmentally conscious organisations in relation to sourcing work place materials.
• Recording and monitoring our Carbon footprint, and taking steps to neutralise it, if necessary
• Recycling waste produce wherever possible.
• Using environmentally friendly domestic and household products; and fair trade and organic products at office locations
• Using recycled paper/pens and office supplies
• Providing secure bicycle 'parking' provisions and shower facilities for members of personnel wishing to cycle to the office.
• Providing free or discounted legal services for environmental causes, where commercially viable and ethically appropriate.
• Maintaining and developing links with environmentally aware groups and businesses.
